DWC performed "waste water audit" for luxury ressort in the Maldives Friday, 20. February 2009

What is the most efficient and cost effective way to collect and treat waste water? What is the most economical way to reuse waste water in different applications? These and more were the questions DWC was asked to solve for a luxury ressort on a Maldivian island. After a week intensive evaluation and detailled discussions with the local engineers and senior decision makers on site, DWC was able to show innovative solutions for waste water collection, treatment and reuse. Bottom line: with a new approach of waste water management and using state of the art technologies with low energy energy consumption we have shown savings potential of over USD 100,000 compare to traditional waste water handling.

During the evaluation DWC was also asked to work out initial ideas how to improve the waste water situation at local islands as well as offering solutions for solar powered drinking water production.
