| DWC designs and builts solar powered RO system for Tschad | Tuesday, 4. August 2009 |
| DWC has been selected to design, built and deliver a stand alone PV powered sweet water reverse osmosis system for an NGO in Tschad. This unit called PV RO Medical 60 has been designed to use any sweet raw water and purifiy it into extra high pure water to be used for medical purposes. It is designed to deliver 60l per hour ultrapure water with a maximum of 15µ conductivity. Key features includes: - Complete PV powered with PV Panels, Batteries, controlls it operates on 24 VDC - Internal pure water storage tank with 90l capcaity - Additional UV desinfection to protect storage tank against recontamination Currently in production (Actual pics from the making of...) Two sweet water reverse osmosis membranes in series producing ultra pure water. Bottom right behind the metal (water) protection are two solar gel batteries to ensure 24 VDC long term operation. Upper box in the centre is the solar charge controller regulating the batteries charging from two 170W PV panels. The team is very happy ...
