DWC presented pre study for water and energy autonomous property development in Marocco Monday, 12. October 2009
Recently DWC presented a pre study to a French property developer about water and energy autonomous property development near Marakesh/Morocco.

Many property developer share the same problem: Being off grid and remotely located they still like to offer the same comfort and safety about water and energy then having a grid connection.

In that particular case the developer wanted to build a number of villas with host areas, pools, gardens, hammams, etc but its actual location was beyond the city network for water and electricity.

DWC worked out the numbers and showed that it was actually cheaper to invest in water and energy autonomy then purchasing (non existing) public services. The extra costs for water and energy autonomy compare to the house price of the villa was less then 20% while operational costs are minimal. Payback period was really short.

The property developer now will include those findings in the next stage of his projects.
