DWC speaks at first ever tourism "Climate for change" symposium organised by Six Senses Thursday, 19. June 2008
The symposium took place 6-8 June at Six Senses Soneva Fushi resort, Maldives. The focus of the event was to consider positive and realistic responses to the challenge to the travel and tourism industry posed by climate change. Over 30 high calibre participants from around the world like Jakob von Uxkuell, founder of the World Future Council and from within the tourism industry like Scandic Hotels or Banyan Tree attended this first ever symposium. Oliver Kopsch from DWC presented and shared his experience on sustainable water management technologies and case studies.
