Germanys' Bundespräsident Horst Köhler meets DWC Monday, 7. September 2009
During this years "Day for Ruanda" in Neuwied (near Koblenz) on the 5th of September 2009 the German Bundespräsident Horst Köhler held a speech to appreciate the efforts of the partnership between Ruanda and Rheinland Pfalz.

In his speech he strongly mentioned the needs for decentralised structures since grid based systems are somewhat limited in Ruanda.

After the speech he briefly visited a few exhibitors. During this he also talked to Oliver Kopsch, MD at DWC to see first hand and in practice how decentralised solar and water solutions really work in practice.

He expressed his strong support of those technologies and praised the efforts of all parties involved to implement more of those relevant technologies. Something that DWC is very happy to do.

Carsten Krause, Team Member of DWC.
