About Ozone disinfection
Ozone was first used in water treatment in the late 1800s. Ozone is an unstable gas comprising of three oxygen atoms, the gas will readily degrade back to oxygen, and during this transition a free oxygen atom, or free radical is form. The free oxygen radical is highly reactive and short lived, under normal conditions it will only survive for milliseconds. Ozone is a colorless gas that has an odor similar to smell of the air after a major thunderstorm.
Ozone has a greater disinfection effectiveness against bacteria and viruses compared to chlorination.
DWC Ozone filter "Home"
Previously ozone disinfection technolgy was used mainly in larger scall applications. Recent technical advances have brougt this technology down in sizes, user friendliness and reduced drastically the costs to apply ozonation in water purification.
DWC Ozone filter "Home" is directly connected to the normal tap at any place and it self generates electricity to generate ozone water by using the pressure of tap-water.
DWC Y 500 Inline Ozone disinfection
This Ozone disinfection unit is installed inline with the water pipe. It features a built-in a water flow sensor so that when a water tap is turned on, the machine can automatically switch on and produce ozonated water.
It is particularly beneficial to disinfect piping infrastructure within the house or for larger water distribution networks. Used also as a polishing stage for treated waste leaving a waste water treatment system it will instantly disinfect the effluent and offers hygienically safe water for direct reuse in toilet flushing or other purposes. The ozone water flow rate is about 5-15 liters per minute with operating power of 55W (220V)
